Porting for stock or oversize valve VAG 1.8 20v turbo head.
Includes work only, using customers head, valves and parts.
Oversize valves, guides, retainers, springs etc. can be supplied separately.
Price includes:
- Disassembly, cleaning and assembling
- Porting and flow measurements before / after
- Valve refacing
- Valve seat machining to head
- Re-surfacing
- New valve guides on exhaust side (Intake does not typically need replacing)
- New valve seals
Flow increase over stock head is ~9% with stock valves on Intake side and ~4% on exhaust side for "big" head and ~17% on intake and 6% for "small" port head.
Small port head flows about the same as big head as stock after porting, but gives a much better driveability at low RPMs under ~7000rpm.
Exhaust to Intake flow ratio is high and runners are kept small and efficient for good thumble, burn efficiency and improved VE%.
