Head porting with oversize valves, VW TDI VE 8-valve head.
- "bolt-on" head, no need for piston machining to clearance valves.
- Assembled with:
- Over size 37mm/33mm 21-4N stainless steel valves
- New custom valve guides
- Rosten double springs with hardened shims
- Deck surfaced
- Nozzle sealing surfaces re-surfaced
- These heads have been verified with many above 300hp combinations.
Runner cross section areas are kept small and efficient for fast turbo spooling and intake runner does not compromise swirl, so smoke free operation is quaranteed with proper tuning even with high Horsepower levels.
In Diesel engines Air flow only does not quarantee HP or TQ increases, but ported head allows more fuel to be added in engine or decreased smoke levels and lower combustion temperatures for more HP or better reliability.
Stock VE head is tested to be good up to ~250hp with single turbo setups and above that ported head and performance camshaft come mandatory for further HP increase.
Every cylinder head is hand finished.
Delivery time ~1-month.
Customer core required for given price, or additional core charge of 200€ is added.
